I'm Cruz del Valle. I help businesses adopt AI and navigate change without losing the people who have to live with the result. My background combines a Master of Global Management from Thunderbird (ASU) with hands-on work inside Bird Marella LLP, where I've focused on learning & development and AI adoption from the inside of an organization — not just as an outside consultant.
That combination shapes how I work: I care about the strategy being right, but I care just as much about whether the people affected by it actually adopt it. Most of my engagements sit at that intersection — AI tools that get used, processes that survive past rollout, and teams that come out of a transition more aligned than before.
Outside the office
Since 2014, I've co-run a food distribution effort on Skid Row with my mother — same stretch of LA, same routine, most weekends. I also volunteer with the LA Regional Food Bank when I can. It's not a side project I mention for color; it's been a consistent part of my life for over a decade.
People don't adopt change because a plan looks good on paper — they adopt it because someone took the time to understand what their day actually looks like. That's as true on Skid Row as it is in a boardroom, and it's the lens I bring to every engagement.
